A little measuring makes all the difference.

Start with your natural nail measurements, then check the sizing information for the exact set you want. Shape, width, and curvature all matter when choosing a comfortable fit.

BEFORE YOU START

Measure bare natural nails, without press-ons attached. Have a flexible measuring tape marked in millimeters ready, or use clear adhesive tape, a fine pen, and a millimeter ruler.

Measure every finger on both hands. Your left and right hands may not have identical measurements.

HOW TO MEASURE YOUR NAILS

Method 1: Flexible Measuring Tape

  1. Locate the widest part of your natural nail.
  2. Lay the flexible tape across the nail from one side edge to the other, following the nail's curve without pulling tightly.
  3. Read the width in millimeters and write it down for that finger.
  4. Repeat for all ten nails and check each measurement again.

Method 2: Adhesive Tape & Ruler

  1. Place a small piece of clear adhesive tape across the widest part of your nail.
  2. Gently smooth the tape over the curve without stretching it.
  3. Mark the two side edges of the nail on the tape with a fine pen.
  4. Remove the tape, lay it flat, and measure between the marks using a millimeter ruler.
  5. Record the result and repeat for every finger on both hands.

Important: These steps measure across the curve of the nail. If a product's sizing instructions use a different method, follow that product's method when comparing measurements.

CHOOSE YOUR SIZE

Compare your measurements with the sizing information for your chosen product before selecting a size. Do not assume that XS, S, M, or L represents the same measurements across different styles.

If the product page does not provide a measurement chart, ask for the dimensions of that specific set before ordering. A size label alone is not enough to confirm your fit.

A comfortable nail should cover your natural nail without pressing into the surrounding skin. Nail curvature also affects fit, so matching width alone does not guarantee a perfect match.

What if I am between sizes?

Recheck your measurements and follow the guidance for the specific set. If no guidance is available, ask for sizing help before ordering. Do not force a smaller nail onto your natural nail.

Can I use one hand's measurements for both hands?

Measure both hands separately. Corresponding fingers can differ in width.

Does nail shape affect sizing?

Different shapes and styles can have different dimensions and curves. Check the measurements for each set, even if you have purchased a similar size before.

What information should I provide when asking for sizing help?

Include the product name, your preferred option, and the width of every nail on both hands in millimeters. Explain which measuring method you used.
